Cannellini also known as white kidney or fazolia beans are a variety of white beans from Argentina. Popular in Central and Southern Italy particularly in Tuscany. They are similar to haricots, as they are known in Britain. The firm, fluffy texture is used in soups, salads & savoury dishes.
Cooking Instructions
Wash thoroughly before use. Soak for 8 to 12 hours. Place in water and bring to the boil then simmer until soft (approximately 90 minutes).
Storage
For optimum freshness keep in a cool place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Store in a tightly sealed bag or container.
